Explosion Proof General Purpose Motors

Our explosion proof general purpose motors are NEMA B designed, and are suitable for using in hazardous atmospheres. They are built to contain an explosion inside without passing the power into the surrounding explosive atmosphere. Class I (gas) and Class II (Dust) are all available.

UL & CSA listed for Class I & II, division 1. Totally Enclosed with cast iron construction. Three phase explosion proof general purpose motors with SF 1.15 or 1.0, 50Hz and 60Hz are both available. Fixed speed sine wave operation only.
